PolIcies:

REGISTRATION FEE
The registration fee is $25 per family, per year and is non-refundable.

TUITION
Tuition is due on the 1st class of each month. Payments made after the 10th will be charged a $10 late fee. Tuition is pro-rated over ten months (September-June). The amount paid is the same each month whether there are three, four, or five lessons in a month. For your convenience, Danceland II accepts cash, check, Visa, and Mastercard.

DROP/ADD
Classes at Danceland are based on month-to-month instruction; therefore, each month you are financially responsible only for those classes in which you/your student is enrolled for that month. However, if changes need to be made to your/your student's schedule (dropping or adding a class), a DROP/ADD form will need to be completed. Unless the form is completed, you will continue to be billed for the classes in which your student was originally enrolled. DROP/ADD forms are located in the studio lobby. NOTE: Tuition is billed to your account on the 1st of each month. Once billed to your account you are responsible for that tuition (Drop/Add forms must be completed before the 1st of the month).

RETURNED CHECKS
There is a $25 fee on all returned checks.

REFUNDS
There are no refunds available, as we are reserving a class space for you/your child.

EMERGENCY CLOSINGS
We follow the Chesapeake Public School System when closing for inclement weather.

ATTENDANCE
Regular class attendance is necessary for progression. If you/your child misses a class, make-up classes are available. Please ask your teacher or the front desk on the appropriate day/time. Classes must be made up within four weeks of the absence.

PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons are available. Contact the front desk for information.

RECITAL
The recital will be held at the end of June. All students who are registered by the beginning of January are eligible to participate in the recital.

RECITAL FEE
The recital fee of $30 per family is due by April 1st and includes 5 tickets to the recital. Additional tickets will be for sale in June for $8.

COSTUME FEES
There will be two deposits due on all costumes. The first deposit of $20 per costume is due on October 15, 2007. The second deposit of $20 per costume is due on November 15, 2007. The remainder of the costume fee is due by December 15th. A $15 late fee per costume will be added to costume fees paid after December 15, 2007. Danceland II cannot guarantee that costumes ordered late will be delivered in time for pictures or the recital.
